Sometimes known as the Gnomes Guild, but not exclusively made up of that race, the Ingenium was a group of military and civil engineers who began to make great strides in the early part of the 42nd Century. They were so successfully suppressed beginning in 4272ey that by 4300, no gnomes could be found anywhere within the Eight Kingdoms.
